These photos were taken 8 days prior to the portrait C. Aluka Berry shot of me sitting at the same spot in the post below. After Hurricane Helene over 90 miles of railroad track needed to be repaired. Here the rails are literally off the rails. It took around 8 months before the trains began to rumble though town again.
