Project Launch! It's a New Beginning for KA Studio!!

Christmas has always been my favorite time of year. It's "That Christmas Morning Feeling" that makes it so special. You know the one :) The waking up early and running downstairs in your PJ's to see all the gifts under the tree. Then there is the magic of the meaning of the holiday, which is also very special. It's something that every parent wants to give their child but not every parent is able to.

I've lived in many villages in Alaska where there wasn't enough money for food or clothes, let alone Christmas presents. I know it's not just families in Alaska that struggle during the holidays, the problem is everywhere. So, I thought that I could use my passion for photography to do a little good in the world.

Welcome to project "That Christmas Morning Feeling!" For every print purchased from my photography website this holiday, one Christmas gift will be given to a child in need.

Please follow this page for photos and updates about our gift donations, locations, and more.

Photos will be continually added to the website so please continue to check back throughout the year!

If we can provide just one gift to a child in need, it will be worth it!

On the website (top right) there is also an opportunity to join a "Photo of the Month Club", where you will receive an quality exclusive photo print from me each month mailed to your home (at a highly discounted price)! My passion is to use my photography to educate children about the Arctic and to do this I'm launching an "Arctic centered" kids magazine called "Arctic Explorer Kids" which I hope to kick off in January 2020. I'd really like to build a community of like-minded friends around this project so I've launched a Go Fund Me fundraiser to help with the start up costs of getting the first issue rolling.
