I had the extraordinary honor yesterday of photographing the most beautiful wedding. Not only did I befriend the bride and groom but I had an amazing time with every single family member there. There was not a single family member that didn't make me feel apart of the family. I wish nothing but many many years of happiness and joy to Jess and James.

I do not do just weddings. Weddings are my favorite but right up there with weddings are creative shoots. This creative shoot was to hopefully raise awareness for breast cancer. My beautiful model was so brave to show all of her scars for me and talked with me about her struggles going through cancer. So I'll share a few facts with you and if you haven't in a while, THIS IS YOUR SIGN TO GET INTO YOUR DR AND GET SCREENED!

1 in 8 women in the United States will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime.
Breast cancer is the most common cancer found in women, besides skin cancer.
On average, every two minutes a woman is diagnosed with breast cancer.
This year, an estimated 43,550 women will die from breast cancer in the US.

First looks are my ABSOLUTE favorite to do! To get to share that moment, privately, without all of the guests watching can produce some of the strongest emotions and the most adorable photos. This first look was no exception except the reactions were NOT at all what we were expecting! 😂

The brides turn around and one says to the other "You look like the witch from The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe". 😂😂😂 The laughs are 100% genuine and I was laughing right along with them!

By the way, she looked AMAZING. The only thing the White Queen and the bride have in common is they slay 🔥

Yesterday I had the extraordinary honor of photographing the wedding of these two beautiful ladies 😍 From the getting ready photos, to the first look, to the ceremony and the reception.... everything was so beautiful. Thank you both for allowing me to capture two engagement sessions and now your wedding. Your love is truly something special, your happiness is so apparent.
