A Round of Applause for Our Cafeteria Crew!

As National School Lunch Week comes to a close, we're giving a special shoutout to the people who make school lunch happen every day.

Thank you to Cafeteria Manager Nikki Branam and the entire Tri-Rivers cafeteria team for the care, creativity, and hard work you bring to our school.

This week's circus celebration was a fun reminder that there's a lot more happening behind the serving line than we sometimes realize.

Thanks for making lunchtime a little more special this week!

The USDA's MyPlate guide highlights the importance of including all five food groups—fruits, vegetables, grains, protein and dairy, in everyday meals. A simple tip? Aim to fill half your plate with fruits and vegetables!

She's got the moves on and off the field! ⚽

Our very own Tonya Gruel-Wright, Exercise Science and Sports Medicine instructor, traded the classroom for the kickball field to participate in the Marion County Board of Developmental Disabilities Celebrity Kickball Game!

We love seeing our Tri-Rivers team members getting involved in the community, especially when it means having a little fun for a great cause!

Way to represent Tri-Rivers, Tonya! We're cheering you on!

🌟 Tri-Rivers Adult Education Student of the Month!

Perseverance, determination, and teamwork are just a few of the qualities that make our latest Student of the Month stand out!

After experiencing the total loss of her vehicle, this Adult Education Welding student faced a challenge that nearly forced her to leave the program. Instead, she missed just one day of class and returned ready to keep learning and moving forward!

Since then, she has continued to tackle new welding challenges while also encouraging and supporting a fellow female student.

As her nominator shared:

“She consistently brings positivity into the classroom, always wearing a smile, encouraging those around her, and refusing to give up.”

“She doesn’t just demonstrate what it takes to become a great welder; she demonstrates what it means to be a great teammate and an outstanding person.”

👏 Congratulations to our Student of the Month! We're proud of her determination, accomplishments, and the positive example she sets for others!

Caught Being Good | Timely Students of the Quarter

Being on time is more than just watching the clock. It's about responsibility, dependability, and being ready to make the most of every opportunity.

As part of our Caught Being Good recognition series, we're celebrating students who demonstrate what it means to be Timely, one of Tri-Rivers' four PBIS expectations.

👏 Congratulations to our Timely Students of the Quarter! Thank you for setting a positive example and showing up ready to succeed.
