To everyone who stopped by, chatted, commented, complimented, took something home with them, and supported me in anyway, thank you! It is a strange thing putting your art out into the world. My work comes from my heart. Past experiences of love, sadness, self reflection and self realization have all played a role in how I see the world around me and how that translates into what I create and am now sharing with the world. Seeing and hearing people’s reactions to my work is always a very surreal experience. I have always loved my work and for a long time I selectively shared what I did with friends and small groups but it wasn’t really until I started actually printing my images that I started seeing things differently. I still get a little surprised when I print an image up for the first time and see it, real, not just a digital image on my iPad. So when someone, a stranger, supports my way work in anyway, I’m always a little surprised not because I don’t think it’s good, but really because I’m just so touched by it. ❤️
