I had a fun little surprise the other day!

Ellie showed up for her senior session the other day and we immediately were both like “hey, I know you” lol

I work with students in a leadership program called Teen Institute at my other job and it’s not always known by everyone that I do photography. Those who do know usually tell me when they are going to reach out.

This time her mom booked the whole thing and Ellie is so down to earth that she was ready for whatever.

What a great surprise it was to get to work with the beautiful girl in this setting.

Ellie is such a natural behind the camera. She was up for absolutely anything and honestly made my job so easy!

Excited to share these and help check another thing off of that fun senior to do list!

Life moves by so quickly. Before you know it, its been 6 whole years and you’re reaching out to book your first couple session together 🫶🏼

You’re time in front of the lens should have you feeling all the things; playfulness, love, adventure, excitement for the feature, & if we’re being honest probably a little bit of awkwardness.

If we are REALLY being honest, I promise to balance that out for you by being me which in turn ensures all of the above 🤣

It hasn’t even been 24 hours yet and I’m reading the questionnaires of so many amazing people. I legit started crying last night because it feels so much bigger than just a fun session and I want everyone to experience it with their perfect match 🤣

So I want to put an all call out for single men to start. Please share, tag, encourage a GOOD GUY in your life to apply.

Katie and Hayden are a perfect match and it was an honor to get an inside look at the day they became one.

I think I can speak for us all when I say we cried.. a lot, danced even more, and then laughed until we cried again.

There are so many details from this day that I cannot wait to share. Katie is the most type A person I have ever met and simultaneously the most selfless and down to earth. She planned a perfect day to the smallest moments not just for her self but for every single person attending and you could just feel it.

Congratulations, Mr. & Mrs. Hamilton!

Colton & Emma decided to venture to Shovel City Drinkery for their engagement session and was genuinely sad when it happened was over! Drinks, scrabble, and so much laughing! Huge bonus that every inch of the place is screaming for a photo op.

Best advice I can give for a couples session is, make it a date! It takes off all the pressure of fake smiles and not knowing what to do with your hands.

Full transparency, these photos were taken in November and little Miss Charlotte is such a sweetheart already!

I’m very fortunate to have photography be a “job” I choose and don’t have to do to support myself financially though it has definitely helped with all the extras. Because of this I’ve never been that consistent on social media and I typically take a break in the winter expect for some sessions here and there.

I’M OVER IT! I miss you all, I miss meeting new people, getting creative, renting studios, editing!

So consider this my slide back into it all .

Family, maternity, couples, newborn, seniors, branding, weddings, random ideas… let’s chat!
