Colton & Emma decided to venture to Shovel City Drinkery for their engagement session and was genuinely sad when it happened was over! Drinks, scrabble, and so much laughing! Huge bonus that every inch of the place is screaming for a photo op.

Best advice I can give for a couples session is, make it a date! It takes off all the pressure of fake smiles and not knowing what to do with your hands.

Full transparency, these photos were taken in November and little Miss Charlotte is such a sweetheart already!

I’m very fortunate to have photography be a “job” I choose and don’t have to do to support myself financially though it has definitely helped with all the extras. Because of this I’ve never been that consistent on social media and I typically take a break in the winter expect for some sessions here and there.

I’M OVER IT! I miss you all, I miss meeting new people, getting creative, renting studios, editing!

So consider this my slide back into it all .

Family, maternity, couples, newborn, seniors, branding, weddings, random ideas… let’s chat!

What an intentional and happy day!

One of my favorite parts into the planning of their wedding was that Matthew and Jason choose vendors who were close friends/family because they want to support the people the care about but they also know it’s recripcated and that trust let them relax and enjoy the day.

I’m honored to be one of those vendors but even more so to have a life long friendship with you.

This girl. She is hilarious, kind, beautiful, and so down to earth.

She has grown so much as a person in the last 4-5 years that I have known her and it’s just so cool to get to see a small glimpse of who she’s becoming.

Thanks for being you and taking my kids from me so I can eat on more than one occasion.

I’ll never not be obsessed with these! 🧨

I called my brother asking a very specific “Where is there a store with a good view of the sunset?”

To my surprise IKEA is known for their sunsets in Jacksonville! We stopped at Wawa on the way for their perfectly matched slushies to add to the mix.
