When I get asked what I do, most peopleās next question is āwhat do you photograph?ā
Iām pretty sure the technical title would be āportrait photographerā, and Iām sure the person asking the question would LOVE for me to sum it up into two perfect digestible words.
But every time, I immediately blurt out āpeopleā.
Iām a people photographer.
Thatās different than a portraitā¦
Because my end goal isnāt even the photo. My end goal is YOU and your feelings and the honoring of this very precious moment in your life.
Many of my clients have come to me after the loss of a child, a divorce, a huge life change, a loss of self and they want to be reunited within, a new job, an engagement, a birth, or even a wedding.
My clients call me and say āhey, I feel really human right nowā¦ I canāt risk forgetting this part.ā
Iām there for your story. Your personhood.
Because what makes every story a little more fun to read? The pictures š
