Scrolling through this gallery and talking to my partner about how I’m a professional third wheeler 🤣 Wedding photography days include me: being in the room as various people are changing, climbing under the veil with you to be close enough to hear each other breathe as I ask yall to kiss for the camera, being the only person to join you when it’s a “just you” moment.

Which EXACTLY why I love to make sure family portraits get done as smoothly as possible so I can give you a true moment to sneak away and decompress before moving to the reception.

Some of my favorite wedding couples have booked this time into their day and it makes such a huge difference. The people that need to enjoy the day MOST are you and your new spouse.

Also I yell at people that stress out my brides which probably isn’t professional but it’s true 👀

As much as I love to center you Mama, I also provide you a free 5 minute vacation from your husband riling up the children while I document. Even better… you can look at the photos for years to come and enjoy the sweetness with none of the live-action noise.

Happy Friday!

Still sharing proof (and encouragement for photographers that haven’t yet joined the movement) that faceless photos are timeless and artistic 🪄

Arabia mountain never gets old and I recommend it to every client that wants to use their gallery as high quality wall art. The backdrop is striking and it lends itself so well to any session type with enough creativity and planning!

Like many other photographers, my page is going to move towards faceless posts when children are included!

Your children are precious and you should have the option to preserve your family’s privacy.

I’ve always had faceless posting as an OPTION, now it will become my default.

Your sessions will remain the same. Your galleries are still going to be the rich honey-toned nostalgia I can’t seem to break away from no matter how much I tell myself I’m gonna change my editing style.

Side note: I miss the beach I miss the beach I miss the beach I miss the beach and more than anything I miss this gorgeous family & living around the corner from you all!

‘Can my sister come?’ Girl yes. Absolutely.

My own sister just packed up her American life to see what Australia has to offer (and truth be told, I don’t blame her!! It’s getting spooky here 👀)

All ‘sister’ content makes my heart feel extra heavy lately. If you can, call yours up and tell her you love her.

Still one of my all time favorite sessions—

I’ve got to admit…. I don’t always remember all of my clients names. But I ALWAYS remember the way y’all treated one another. The magic in every photo comes from YOU and your connection with yourself & those you love.

This beautiful couple felt like music to be around! Every snuggle and smile and laugh completely genuine. I was blessed to be a witness and even luckier to have a camera there 💛

My favorite part of photographing kids is that not only do they have me GIGGLING while I’m at the session with yall, but u get to go home and enjoy it all over again while editing. I will never not deliver all the goofy photos!! And it’s my hope that when you get your galleries back, you’re giggling too. Kids are so cool and I adore your babies!!
