Outfits I recommend NOT wearing to your senior session 👇

❌ Clothing with neon color that can reflect on skin tone

❌ Wrinkled clothing — wrinkles are way more noticeable in photos than you think!

❌ Large logos, graphics, or words across your shirt — they can be distracting and take attention away from YOU.

Your senior photos should feel timeless and represent who you are. Choose outfits that fit well, make you feel confident, and let your personality shine.

OUTFIT TIP ➡️ if you're ever unsure about what to wear, send your photographer photos of your outfit options beforehand. I'd much rather help you choose than have you show up stressing about it on session day! 😊

🚨Parents of Class of 2027 seniors🚨🚨
If this is your first time planning senior photos I got you!, chances are you’re probably wondering: “When are we supposed to book?”, “How far ahead do we plan?”, “What even makes a senior session turn out AMAZING?”
Trust me, you are not behind. But a little planning goes a LONG way when it comes to creating a relaxed, meaningful senior experience.
Here are my biggest tips to help you get started:
1. Ask your senior what they want their photos to feel like.
Having a clear vision makes every other decision easier.
2. Planning ahead matters. Don’t wait until the last minute to book.
3. Search for an experience and professional photographer who can understand your vision and guide to the entire process.

BONUS TIP: So when should you book?Honestly? Earlier than you think.
For fall senior sessions, summer is usually the best time to reach out and start planning especially if your dream location depends on seasonal blooms or fall color timing.

To all my Class of 2026 seniors and families… you guys have been AMAZING 💛✨

Seriously, thank you for trusting me with such a special season of life, for showing up excited, for driving all over with outfits in the backseat 😂, for the referrals, the kind words, and for letting me capture these memories for your babies (even if they’re technically not babies anymore 🥹).

Every session this year has felt so fun, meaningful, and full of personality, and I truly don’t take that for granted.

You guys made this season so special for me and I’m beyond grateful for every single one of you 💛
