WHERE DID MY BABY COUSIN GO?!?!? 😭

Miles & Aunt Brittnany visited us in Louisville a couple of months ago, and photos were mandatory since it’s his senior year!

Luke is part of one of my absolute favorite families ever! ❤️

The Westbrock’s hired me based on a referral, and immediately “adopted” me into their family. I’ve loooooved photographing Claudia, Lilly, Kenzie, and now Luke!

My little brother is engaged! 💍

JD & Megan needed a few photos for their save-the-dates, and I was so happy to help. These were all taken in their front yard around noon—aka some of the harshest, least forgiving lighting you can get.

When you’re hiring a photographer (especially for your wedding, where lighting is constantly changing and rarely perfect) you want someone who knows how to create beautiful images no matter the conditions.

All. The. Time. People tell me that they don’t like to have their photo taken. They’re not photogenic. They think it’s a stiff and uncomfortable experience. They just want it to be over with even before they’ve started.

…and then they get in front of my lens. 😇

100% of these naysayers have left the session with a smile on their face (or at least with a content “that wasn’t so bad” attitude). It’s a real point of pride for me.

Meet Tyler and Tish. They were both part of this crowd at first, but we had so much fun going around downtown Cincinnati for their engagement photos! Each of us were glad to walk away with an excess of lovely portraits.

Love, love, loooooved this session. And it was my very first one in Louisville ❤️

I’m so grateful for my incredible clients. From the MOV to Maine to Louisville, I’ve met amazing people, watched so many of you move through different seasons of life, and built a strong, supportive community because of your trust and referrals.

Leaving such a loyal client base was hard, especially one that kept me busy even after I stopped marketing altogether.

This new chapter has been surprisingly fulfilling though. I’m not advertising here, but I still get to create often through work, and my weekends back in the MOV are full of sessions.

Overall, I want to thank you. Thank you for trusting me with your memories, for inviting me back even after I moved six hours away, for your patience when editing takes longer than expected, and for helping keep Courtney Wentz Photography alive and well ❤️
