“A Quiet Kingdom of Flow”

"Mountain glows—still
water threads the dark stones
light breaks its vow"

A beautiful Area of Scotland is the wonderful Glen Coe at Buachaille Etive Mòr. I must say it was a beautiful morning that day with the mist and a cloud mimicking a rainbow in front of the mountain. Nature is a many splendid thing in the early hours of the morning :) Please enjoy :)

Iceland is a photographers dream. As a photographer I'm far more interested in moody bad weather days than the sunny days that appeal to most people. I love the atmosphere and the feelings that those conditions create. I took this at the Black Church on the day of a very big storm that actually shut the whole country down. Windy did describe the conditions. Hope you enjoy this image which I found while going through my archives. I call it simply "The Storm" :)

One of my favorite areas on this earth is Utah and Arizona an area I will be visiting again in late October. Going through some pictures from 2003 I found this picture of the south rim of the Grand Canyon with the Desert View Watchtower. The Grand Canyon has to be truly seen to be believed and in my opinion is one of the truly jaw dropping wonders of nature. It never ceases to take the breath away. Please enjoy this image 🙂

As well as my endless passion for landscapes, birds etc, I've spent a lot of time since February shooting another of my favorite things sport, trying to put together a new portfolio of images in the genre. I haven't actually done any sports photography since my early 20's when I worked for a UK paper down on the south Coast of England. I must admit its been a lot of fun over the last few months taking photo's of high school athlete's in sports I've never ever shot in my life, basketball and lacrosse amongst them, kids who play for the love of sport and nothing else. So I thought I'd share a couple of my many, many picture today. Hope you enjoy 🙂
