Faith cannot exist apart from revelation from God. That is the revelation of His word.

This is my favorite part of the espresso. No joke. Not because I just tasted really REALLY good espresso… oh no.. but because of the aromatic qualities left behind in what is called “the heart” of the espresso.

Mmm mmm!

Sometimes, I leave a finished espresso or Lungo in my car so that smell 👃 lingers the next time I get in.

I’m going through a season of peace.

Does this mean I feel at peace? NO… so far from it.

I have been thrown challenges lately that a dead me would have raged out over.

The dead me would go to the bottle for resolution.

The dead me would obnoxiously walk into the room proclaiming “this is the way and you can either run with it or leave.”

The dead me would break things or throw things showing zero self control.

The dead me would find a way to utterly embarrass and belittle someone out of spite.

But I hold firm to my faith in Jesus Christ as I meditate on what that means through the word of God.

During the times that challenge me today, yesterday, and tomorrow I find myself settling into the comforting arms of Christ and keeping my mouth shut, my heart open, and my body calm.

Glory goes to God.

The word of God is perfect. It does not need a person to make out some special message or motivational speech from its scripture.

Gods word will enlighten all as it is.
