Much like my entire instagram account, these photos are long overdue. Last minute family photos are always a good idea. When my beautiful and amazing friend reached out that her parents were headed back home, she asked if we could do a super last minute family session. We did. And sometimes plans don’t even have be in place. Because it’s really as simple as documenting the people you love. Right then and there. Isn’t it about creating memories anyway? That’s what matters most. That, and the people in the photos. ❤️

I remember when my son was little, loving every little detail, from his little hands, to his blonde hair, to the way hugged my neck with all his might. They were moments that I thought would last forever. When I get to photograph families with little ones, I find myself pausing and soaking in the moments they’re so lucky to experience in the early years. Because those moments, the giggles, the smiles, the flying in the air, are just so precious.
And how lucky am I to be the one to save those memories for them!

A senior session worth sharing and notes I mentally took while photographing Gavin.
1. Own who you are. - this guy knows what he loves, who he is, and has confidence that radiates.

Gavin showed up with two looks that he seriously owned. The guitar was just the cherry on top. He had no hesitation in taking photos. Was all in and honestly, went with it. I love how confident, how humble, kind, and truly adorable he was. I really did take notes. ✨
