What a wild ride 2023 was.

I’ve secretly been sharing this amongst friends and family, annnnd avoiding telling you. I’ve decided to move on from Citrus + Olive Photography, and honestly, photography in general.

4 years of running a business. 10+ years as a hobby. And I’m ready for the next portion of my life.

To all of my couples, you all were such a light. So many photographers have horror stories, but I can truly say I never had that and was only welcomed by everyone, your family included.

Thank you all again for trusting me with such a special time in your life.

I’m blessed everyday when I get to shoot couples.

Meet Ethan and Kaitlyn.

These two were willing to wake up with me before dawn for a sunrise session at Roswell Mill. And we were treated with a beautiful morning.

I love getting couples who are willing to wake up with me and start the morning with a sweet session.

With a kind and easy going couple, I’m having a wonderful to start an early weekend.

Have you ever felt like you were in a movie? 🍿🎥

This session was that moment for me. I could have been in a movie, a rom-com, a meet-cute, a first date. I could have been in a fairytale dream. I could have been shooting an ad campaign. I could have been shooting a book cover.

Harrison and Jenna had me feeling ALL OF THE FEELINGS during their engagement session. They’re high school sweethearts, and honestly, you could tell instantly. Their chemistry was one of the sweetest I’ve been around.

Mr. and Mrs. Goldstein, everyone!

Kyle and I love the weddings that this family puts on. The Hindu ceremony for Nush and Matt was one that I am so honored I got to be there for. The ceremony was so special and unique. It truly was a joy to be a witness for these two.

Hands down, one of the most emotional weekends I’ve photographed. Watching Nush getting married literally made me tear up on both days. And I can’t wait to share more with y’all soon!

The weather may have dipped yesterday but it was absolutely PERFECT for a spring engagement sessions with these two!

Okay, for real though.

I had THE BEST anniversary session last night with Elise and Aaron. It was such a pleasure and honor to be able to capture these two. I’ve known Aaron for QUITE a long time now and I’ve recently gotten to meet Elise. And y’all, you can just feel the love radiating around them immediately. I had such a blast spending sunset with them last night. 🧡

Such a wonderful way to jump into the spring. 🥰

Let me tell you what I wasn’t expecting to us weekend.

Getting COVID.

At the last minute this past week, I had to reach out to and find someone to cover my wedding for me.

I spent all day Thursday trying to find someone and I’m so incredibly blessed that reached out and was able to be there in my place.

It’s a weird feeling letting someone take over for you when your company is only you, but I’m so very thankful to have a community where people are willing to step up and take time of their weekend and fill in.

What a beautiful wedding for Mr. and Mrs. Song on a wonderful winter day! And right before the snow came in! I’m having such a great time editing their photos. 🧡

Last Wedding of 2021 went out with a bang! I have been looking forward to these two getting married since I photographed their engagement session. They are SUCH an accomplished couple and they’ve had a LOT of miles between them. I’m so happy they can finally settle down and be together as husband and wife.

Yes. Yes I did.

I love that my first session back is this one with Josh and Taylor. They are so extremely close friends of ours. I’m so excited to celebrate their wedding next year and to continue to watch their marriage grow (and continue to pester them to move closer to our side of town).

I had the honor of meeting two cool ass people yesterday.

And then we proceeded to have a GORGEOUS fall engagement session in Roswell.

Everyone, meet Sarah and Matt. They’re getting married next year and I’m beyond excited to be taking their wedding pictures as well. I’ve been told there will even be a suit of armor at their wedding. 😄
