It’s a Celebration!

What a great time to have a party! Not only did I open my full-time photography business 15 years ago, but I’m expanding this year back into my hometown community with a satellite studio in downtown Pendleton!

The public is invited to join me at my Pendleton Grand Opening this Saturday (August 8th) from 4pm - 6pm! Feel free to arrive early and watch current and former SHFP clients and models — young and old — walk the red carpet!

In February it's all about LOVE!

One of my favorite things that I LOVE to do is celebrate First Responders!

For the last 7 years I have given back to the people that protect us everyday by giving 5 free mini sessions to deserving local heroes!!

Here's how it works:

Nominate your favorite hero or nominate yourself!!

Email me a note, a story, or a few reasons why your hero should be gifted a mini photo session!

Sessions will be provided at NO CHARGE but the hero must wear their uniform!

These sessions are open to LAW ENFORCEMENT, FIRE, EMS, or HOSPITAL FRONTLINE workers with their children! This year, due to recent weather events, I am also opening the nominations to

Electric Company Lineman!!

I will choose a total of 5 winners!

The sessions will be here at my

Sutherland Hill Farms studio in Dacusville.

The hero and their children must be able to do the photo session on Saturday February 28th between 11am and 1pm.

Deadline for nominations is Friday February 13th!!

Happy New Year!

LOTS OF ANNOUNCEMENTS TODAY!

I won’t say I’m sad about saying goodbye to 2025 as it was a tough year in many ways, but I will say — and potentially manifest — that 2026 is going to be much better! There are certainly lots of exciting things planned and I need your help! I need your help in getting the word out. Facebook and Instagram are making it harder and harder for small businesses to be seen on their platforms, so I need everyone to tag their friends in my posts, after your session with me tag me in your posts with the photos, or make a random post about how much you love SHFP and share this group page!

This year I’m starting a referral incentive program! Get 5 of your friends to book a session with me, have them mention you when they book, and you receive a FREE session!! (An up to $400 value)!

The first themed mini session for 2026 is DOLLY’S DRESSING ROOM — Jan 17th at the Dacusville studio!

Join SHFP in helping to celebrate Dolly Parton’s 80th birthday this year coming up on January 19th with a Parton Pink-filled session of her dressing room backstage at The Ryman Auditorium in Nashville — or what I imagine it MUST look like anyway 😀

FOR ALL MY DOLLY FANS, Booking opens this Thursday (in the newsletter first) and then later in the afternoon on this group page! For all ages!

Also, we are getting closer to the opening of our satellite studio in Pendleton! Coming in April!
