Ben is 🔟 today!!!!!! 🥳🎂🎈

My sweet boy. I’m not sure how an entire decade has passed- I feel like there must have been a time warp. 😱😭 Ben is the kid who made me a mom 10 years ago (making a VERY grand entrance at almost 10 lbs 😂) I feel like he and I have grown up together in many ways.

Ben is, and has always been a special guy. Incredibly empathetic, kind, and sensitive. He also has a great sense of humor. And as his teacher told me last year- he is ALL boy. He is obsessed with all things basketball, and he makes friends anywhere he goes. He loves his family more than anything, and I am just so, so proud of the person he is growing into. 🥹❤️

This day was in a word- enchanted. 🌲✨

Cailey was hoping for “wet & green” for her mountaintop wedding, and BOY did the universe deliver. 🤗 Cailey & Clay tied the knot in a forest sanctuary, surrounded by twinkling lights, a soft fog, and the people they love most. I cried more than once throughout this day behind the scenes — there was just so much joy, it was palpable. Feeling especially lucky to have been a small part of it all. 🥹

A special shout out to Julie with , who is truly an incredible host. I can’t speak highly enough of working with her, or shooting at this beautiful, unique venue!!

*Big News* 🗞️📢 BLP is moving 😭📦🚚

After several years of being long distance from the other half of our crew, we are headed to Georgia this summer! 🍑😱 It is bittersweet — DC has always been our home, and it is hard to imagine leaving so many people we love. There are so many of you who I have connected with and it is so hard to say goodbye. 😭 I will be taking on just a few sessions through May, and then that’s it! 🥺 If you want to get one last session in, please reach out soon so book a spot. 💘
