A stormy day in the San Juans I’ll never forget 🌈

After waking up next to the lake to thunderstorms surrounding me on this particular morning, I wasn’t sure if I had any chance to get any light at all, but before I knew it the sun broke through the horizon and put on a show unlike any I’ve seen up until that point. What I didn’t know that morning was that this display of light and color in the high country would be topped the same day at sunset as I was treated to multiple rainbows serving as a backdrop to the Red Mountains.

Wildflower season in beautiful Idaho 💐

June is here, the wildflowers are out, and there’s no shortage of adventure right now. Whether you’re hiking in to the Pahsimeroi Valley or making the long drive out to Copper Basin to find your perfect wildflower surrounded campsite, these are the things that keep me coming back to this wonderful state. From Sun Valley up to Stanley, you could spend the whole season out here and hardly scratch the surface of everything there is to see. Spanning from the southern Idaho region featuring city of rocks and Craters of the Moon, up to the high mountains of central Idaho, wildflower season here is accessible to all from the late spring into the late summer. With the ability to choose your own adventure to experience the blooms, there are a few places as good as Idaho to chase wildflowers 👌🏼

The best time of the year in Colorful Colorado, so close I can almost taste it. Golden hour drives through the mountains, waking up next to alpine lakes, chasing wildflowers, camping, off roading, running along the rim of canyons and so much more create an environment that’s truly hard to beat. Couldn’t be more ready for another round of it all this season 🤙🏼
