One of my goals as a photographer has always been to work with brands I truly love. When sent me their Dowler Black Boots, I was honestly blown away.

These are hands down the nicest boots I own. Each pair even comes with a handwritten note from the shoemaker, which shows how much they care about every detail.

I photographed these out in Marfa, Texas during golden hour and the results still make me so happy. Full blog is live if you want to see more. Link in bio.

I’ve been wanting to start a photography blog for years, but I could never quite find my groove with it.

What better way to kick this off than with some of my favorite photos of my wife, taken on Levera Beach in Grenada, with my trusty Sony A7C and the compact 28mm F2.

My hard drives are overflowing with images that feel special and beautiful to me, but they’ve just been collecting digital dust. This blog (and these posts) are my way of finally giving them life and sharing more than just the highlight reel on Instagram.

If you love honest thoughts about simple gear, real moments, and portraits that feel like you were there, stick around. This is just the beginning.

Congratulations to Sam and Kennedy on tying the knot! I had the pleasure of taking their engagement photos out at Jester King Brewery. It was my first time photographing there, and I’m sure it won’t be my last.

Y’all literally cannot tell me that Kyla isn’t the cutest baby you’ve ever seen. 😍 all of the photos from her one year birthday session were just as cute as this one, so I’m going to have to post all of them 😅

Jamilla graced us with her presence this weekend, so naturally I asked her if I could take some lifestyle photos of her for Brooklynd’s. She really came through!

This is a great time to mention that I work with brands and small businesses! Don’t downplay great photography—especially photos that are timeless and you can recycle them for a few months/years. I offer a wide range of brand photography, including lifestyle (as you see this sample here) and product photography. Admittedly there are so many sessions I did in 2022 where I said to myself “this is my best work yet.” And then I only kept the beautiful photos between me and the client 🥹

It’s always such a pleasure photographing Lacey and Cameron whenever I’m in Dallas. We had so much fun walking around at sunset, skateboard in hand. Sessions where there’s an activity involved are my absolute favorite! 🛹

Getting the opportunity to photograph my brother-in-law and his family was one of the highlights of our Grenada trip back in February.

Congratulations to these two for tying the knot!!! Tristan and Kailey were truly so wonderful to work with. It really is hard for me to pick a favorite from their gallery because they’re all so great! Looking at these photos, you would’ve never guessed that it was raining and quite cold on this day. 🥶 Thanks for rolling with the weather, and again, congratulations you two! 🥂
