My first photography gig in Denver at .bbq. Something that started as a hobby has grown into a career I’m incredibly grateful for. Moments like this remind me why I started and how special it is to make a living doing something I love.

and are building something special, serving bold, unforgettable food that speaks for itself. If you’re in Denver, it’s well worth the visit.

Years ago, I used to drive through Amarillo on my way to Colorado, never really taking the time to really explore the Yellow City. And looking back, I wish I had. It has that quintessential small-town West Texas feel that I love: a slower pace, a warmth that’s hard to find elsewhere.

It wasn’t until brought me out to shoot their food that I finally got to experience it properly. Everyone here has been absolutely wonderful. The food, the kindness, all of it is top notch. They truly are the epitome of Texas hospitality, and I sincerely hope to come back and work with y’all again.

Up before the sun, tending the coals so every bite tells the truth. This is where barbecue begins. Not at the smoker, but here, with wood, fire, and patience.
