The inaugural Lynette Tenaglia Memorial Run in Cement City, MI was a life-changing event. It was an honor to be a part of the Lynette's Love extended family as a volunteer photographer and race participant. Race Directors Rich and Amanda put their hearts into this race to honor Rich's mother Lynette and raise awareness about Hydrocephalus and other neurological conditions. Melissa Worrell, a Director from the Hydrocephalus Association, attended and cheered on runners. Runners came from several states including CA, WV, IN, and MI. Congratulations to all the runners on their impressive achievements! Hats off to Glenda Damaske for earning her first 100 Mile buckle and Quinton Prys for his amazing run of 84 miles in less than 24 hours! The delicious and nutritious food from Mama G's Catering kept everyone going strong all weekend. The historic McCourtie Park in the Irish Hills was beautiful. Put this event on your calendar for next year and run for a good cause!

The Odd Duck Running Company Big 4 High Five Trail Run was a huge success. Put next year's race on your calendar! Hats off to Race Director Joe Hardin for organizing this event. Congratulations to all the runners who braved the rain and finished strong. Thank you to everyone who continues to support me out on the trail. I love being part of the running community.

I've enjoyed attending the Dig the Dunes Beer Run & Wine Walk Series events. One of the best things about these events for me is connecting with other small business owners and sponsors. I recently met the awesome ladies that run Dogs of the Dunes dog training in Valparaiso, IN. Since Planet Canine in Elkhart closed, I have not been taking my dogs to regular classes.
