In the middle of fall craziness I got to photograph an epic community challah event by the incredible JAKE COHEN (best selling cookbook author and popular online personality!) at Oheb Shalom Congregation last week. Jake brought Jewish Joy to all of us at a much-needed time. Not mention delicious challah!

This family session is one of my favorites from this year …AND I really love this audio. 📣💜Maplewood has some very cool spots 🔥

This crew was featured in a spring issue of SOMA Living Magazine

I’m a family photographer in business 15 years.
These are my top three pieces of advice:

1. Don’t wait. For your kid to sit still, for your front steps to look nicer, for that relationship to be a little less complicated. Do it now, before it’s possibly too late.

2. What you look like is the least interesting thing about you. The coordinated outfits, the scale, the perfect blowout, maybe even an annoying injury you’re dealing with. Take the photos anyway.

3. The perfect smiles are not necessarily the perfect moments. Authenticity comes from your connection, expressions that only you know, tears, happy cries, laughter, hugs, and everything in between.

✌️💕

If you only watch this for the outrageous amount of attempts trying to record this 🤓

i’m often told how exhausted people are looking at my Instagram 🤪😅 (clearly not showing you enough couch time and naps!)
