Senior photos should be fun, and show personality. I love that this guy showed up with outfit changes!! I normally don't get that from the boys but I wish more of them would because its normally an outfit their mom picked, but I love when they wear their favorite outfit too!!

What do you do when winter doesn't show up and you can't shoot on the ice? You use old photos to create your new ones. You'd never guess where we actually were shooting because I promise there was no snow or ice for miles and miles. Winter maternity photos even without snow are still so beautiful! I love capturing these last moments before baby comes and families grow. There is something so special about a mom who is about to bring new life into this world.

How perfectly sweet is this little princess!! I never thought I'd be a newborn photographer but every session I have I fall more in love with it. Having an amazing mentor (and bestie) to teach me the ropes over the years has been amazing and I'm hoping to focus even more on newborns this year than ever before!
Someone asked me if its hard to do the same job as your friends and the answer is no. Its awesome, we can help each other, teach and learn from each other and lift each other up when we've had a hard session. I'll be forever grateful for my photo besties!

Making a point to go back and post more than one picture from my session, I am the absolute worst at sharing photos so I'm trying to go back and show all the things I didn't in the past haha.
There is something so magical about the ice stacks and I was hoping to get to go out there and shoot again this year but since its basically fall in January thats not happening :(
