The hurt that hasn't set in yet is really all the love you were willing to bear...open hearts keep love circling while a closed heart doesn't allow the healing power of openness to circulate and circumvent your own hardships
Choose love over hate, self over others, and life over the opposite. Ones self brought to it's own extent of love can provide tremendously for those around you. You really never know when you will change your life or when your life changes you. Many things will always challenge your directive of you but how you respond will set you apart.
Hatred is a very poisonous thing to carry...it'll mend itself into your loving cells, restfully taking over and steering against the override of your circulatory, slowly seeping into the openness of those around you. Taking everyone around you to recognize your poise.
In this picture you may wonder what's special but the day of my brother's funeral I had the chance to turn around and snap this picture. I only had once chance to turn around to see this moment. It meant everything to me when I took it. The final day I got to see the last remnence of his final bouts, it showed in the beauty of this sky, this sunset. I looked at this picture for 6 months after I took it awaiting a sign that I was open to love and not hate. I never hated him. I only loved him more in his absence. Then one day along the right side of this picture you can see a figure in the clouds...a large bird with its went reaching out to say I'm with you now and I'm here to guide. Follow my right wing brother and I can help share this love that you see.
An eagle is a representation of freedom, divine protection, strength, and wisdom. Chris resembled all of this as a big brother, a mark, I've always tried to leave with others and to remain open to those around you, especially friends. The love you share with a non-loved one is a very true form of love. We may not know all of those we help at the end of the day. The protection you provide to your friends is a great treasure of love and goes indefinitely to the depths it was designed for. It will reach the bottom of your recipient. Eagles don't think of your connection when you feel something towards it while it's flying in the air, I hope this is the same feeling you get when you help a friend in need.
Don't let the slightest sign of somebody giving up go unnoticed, your genuine smile and kind hearted act goes indefinitely to those who need it most today. Giving up doesn't have to be everything, it could be the white flag at the end of a frustrating day, submitting to my issues and a hope that tomorrow is better.
Smile, be genuine and be somebody's hope today so that their tomorrow will be better.
Luke 6:29 "and unto him that smitteth thee on the one cheek offer also the other; and him that taketh away thy cloke forbid not to take thy coat also"
Share the warmth of your coat to those who were provided the wrong coat to keep themselves warm at the end of the day. We never know what provides the smitteth of ones cheek to turn them cold.
