Bryan had it all planned: a hike to Tipsoo Lake, the wildflowers in bloom, and the moment he’d been waiting for. Marie had no idea. 🏔️

Getting to photograph this surprise proposal was such an honor and watching someone’s whole world change in real time never gets old.

The tears, the laughter, the “wait, is this actually happening?!” look on her face... absolutely priceless.

This past weekend, I took part in the Ragnar Northwest Passage relay race. A 200-mile race with 11 other teammates, running from the Canadian border to Langley, WA. I took the opportunity to snap some photos during our race. Always a fun time to take candid journalistic-style photos.

Congratulations to these young adults! Many of them, including my little brother Val, are headed off to the Naval Academy, the Air Force, or their respective colleges and schools. What an amazing group of high achievers. They all excelled in high school academia and I’m confident they will all continue to succeed! Congratulations and I wish you all the best!
