We've been live with our adoption agency for a few months now. 🤗💕 And after the amount of paperwork and appointments (with the home study), it feels strange to be in the waiting part of our adoption. 🤔 Both our kids are anxiously excited to meet their brother or sister and already have so much love in their little hearts for him/her. 💗 We are confident the right momma out there will find us! 😁🥰

Kevin and I have been taking this time to feel grateful. For so many things. 🙏🏻 Summer has been good for us and we have spent every day outside swimming or playing. 🙌🏻 Anyone else doing the same??! 🙋‍♀️

Nature is SO good... except for the allergies. 🌳💕😂

One morning while visiting Hawaii a few years back, Kev and I woke up to go to a super picturesque location for sunrise. We were alone for the most part, until a local came. 🏝

He sat on one of lava rocks and started to play on the ukulele while singing. 🎶 At first, I was a little annoyed that he came and interrupted my own enjoyment of the sunrise. But, after a bit, I found it to be EXTREMELY peaceful. ✨✨ In fact, it added so much to the beauty it’s truly hard to describe. 💕

We are all looking for a peaceful moment in this crazy time. Sometimes, it's just taking a second for yourself. Pause. Reflect. Pray or do what you do to center yourself. Find that ukulele sunrise, or the snowy afternoon or just breathe. 🙌🏻 Paint, read, create, laugh, turn the volume up on your favorite song! 💃

Self care is important. Fill your bucket, so you can help fill others'!!!! 🤗🤗

But seriously, the future can look SO daunting at times!! 😅 So many decisions... so many possible outcomes!! Good or Bad. 🤷🏻‍♀️ If you're feeling overwhelmed already at the start of the new year, it's alright!! You're not alone. 👍🏻 We literally get things done: ONE STEP AT A TIME. 😊️

It's back to school for my handsome dude today. The last two weeks off flew by!!!! It was a break that my family desperately needed from it ALL. ✨

I'm some what relieved that he is still in distant learning for a few more weeks, because I'd miss him so much if he left for school. 💗 (... Though I'll probably rethink this as soon as we fall behind in school assignments again, which is probably sooner rather than later. 😅)

Also, look at how much they've changed in one year!!! 😳

Last year feels like a lifetime ago with how 2020 shaped up to be. 😅 However, I can't help but feel some magic with what this Christmas season has done!! Which is why I felt this picture belonged. 🎄✨🎄

I needed this. I need to believe. I need to hope. 😊️There is beauty and magic. That's always what Disney taught, and now on the Eve of all things magical... I can't help but be excited for what the future holds. Are you? ⭐️🎄⭐️

It's almost Christmas, and, all I wanted, was snow. ❄️🎄 My son heard this and started to pray for snow every day for about a week and a half, and guess what's in the forecast for today?! 😁

That's right, a full blown "Winter Storm", predicting blizzard conditions! 🙈❄️ Haha I guess when a kid prays, it comes in full force! 🥶😂

I'm ok with it though, as long as my old furnace holds up! 😬 I love snuggling up and getting cozy with a fire burning. 🔥 I love it about as much as I love getting to explore new places with adventurous couples in love. 💕
