On a recent trip to Oregon, I was excited to go to Fort Stevens State Park to see the wreck of the Peter Iredale. I had hoped for a bright sunny day with the ocean backdrop. The morning we went was so foggy it was hard to tell which direction to walk to find the wreck. I am thankful for that fog. The fog provided an eeriness to the images that I love.

This past winter, we spent time enjoying the incredible beaches in Navarre and Pensacola. One cool, windy day I encountered all these beautiful “balloon” creatures that had washed up on the beach. Last summer in Corolla, North Carolina, we rented a jeep to see the wild beach horses. I am not around horses very often, so this was really a treat to witness the beauty of the horses by the sea. I finally downloaded the camera images and these were my favorites taken from inside the jeep.
