These maternity photos are extra special to me. Not only did I get to capture this beautiful moment, but the woman in these photos is my wife, Katherine, and the sweet baby she is carrying could be born any time now.

Photography has always been about preserving moments, but this one feels different. This is our family, our story, and a season of waiting, hope, love, and so much anticipation. Watching Katherine carry our second has been one of the most beautiful and nerve-racking things I have ever witnessed.

We cannot wait to meet you, little one. 💚

Happy Mother’s Day from AceReid Photography 🤍

This photo means everything to me. It features my mom and my wife, the two most important moms in my life, alongside three incredible moms who I’m lucky enough to call my sisters. I also want to recognize my mother-in-law, Tonya. She isn’t pictured here, only because the last photo I have of her is from our wedding, but she is such an important part of our lives and so deserving of love today and every day. I’m also thinking of my grandmothers, Larine and Shelia, and Katherine’s grandma, Wanda, whose love and influence continue to shape our family in so many ways.

My wife Katherine is carrying our second right now, and this season holds so much weight and meaning for us. After losing our first, this journey has been filled with both grief and hope. Watching her step into motherhood with so much strength, love, and grace is something I will never take for granted.

To all the moms, stepmoms, moms-to-be, and women who show up with care and love, today is for you. Your presence matters more than words can say 🤍
