I'm not sure how I managed to get so lucky! This family is a dream to photograph... so much love and FUN! I am so grateful that they chose me to capture these memories for them once again! 💕

Today I brought my baby boy to preschool. I watched him walk to his classroom wearing a backpack that was bigger than he is. His eyes were big with excitement... and hesitation. You see, he is a momma’s boy... and he wanted mommy by his side. His little fingers grasped mine as I told him how much mommy loves him, and I walked away knowing he was starting a new and exciting chapter in his life.
Yesterday my middle son took his first steps. His curious eyes lit up as he found a new way to explore the world. I will never forget his tiny hands holding mine as he wobbled around the house making new discoveries, his little smile lighting up my world.
A week ago, my oldest son was born. I was overwhelmed with emotion as they placed this tiny gift in my arms for the first time. He was perfect. But even as I held him that very first time I found myself aching with sadness for the future me... when his little hands and feet grow to be bigger than mine, when he doesn’t need his momma to cuddle him as he sleeps. I found myself wanting to capture every moment, knowing it won’t last long.
Life is beautiful. But it goes by in the blink of an eye. Capture each moment, because those images are what will last a lifetime.
