I bought my first DSLR camera when my daughter was a little over a year old in 2006, mainly because I wanted a faster shooting camera- so I wouldn't miss all those cute moments of her being a toddler. I soon found myself interested in making my pictures better than just point and shoot. It has since grown into a hobby that I would like to share with you and your family.

The original plan was pictures outside but the Iowa weather had a different plan, which I am grateful it did! I love doing photography in my clients homes, I get to hear stories of the rocking chair that was once used by Kelsey's late mom, or a beautiful crib built by Tanner's dad. Thank you to Kelsey and Tanner for welcoming me into your home. We joked that it belongs in Better Homes and Garden...but seriously, it does! And Max...he definitely got his modeling skills from his parents!
