Dodging raindrops and capturing chaos — the New Ulm Pumpkin Smash Derby never disappoints. Every year it’s loud, messy, and absolutely unforgettable. Watching everyone smash into each other while I get to freeze the action in time is truly the best kind of fall tradition.

Big families mean big laughs — and this crew delivered.
My favorite part isn’t just getting everyone together in one frame, but catching all the silly, joy‑filled moments happening in between. Those are the memories that tell the real story.

CHEERS TO 30🎂

Today I turn 30, and my heart is full. Getting to spend another year capturing life’s little moments has been the biggest gift.
Shannon, thank you for making my birthday shoot so special — the perfect way to wrap up 29.
Here’s to 30, more joy, more creativity, and more memories behind the camera.

Hello! I am Kendra owner of Huls Shots Photography and here are some of my favorites!

Golden hour, giggles, and a whole lot of bug‑dodging — these two make every session a blast. Their love shines in every frame, and I can’t wait to celebrate their fall wedding with them.

If I’m not behind the camera capturing special moments, I’m in my garden with dirt under my nails and a hat that should never see the light of day. Balance.
And honestly… you should see what’s starting to grow- it's getting wild 🌻🌷

TAYLOR & LAWRENCE
These two showed up to their engagement session with laughter, sweetness, and the kind of energy that makes a session feel effortless. Their connection is playful, genuine, and full of adventure — such a joy to capture.

Just a boy and his car… and the girl who handles both with effortless patience.
These two brought nothing but laughs and good energy to their session, turning a simple shoot into something genuinely fun.
Always love capturing personalities that shine just as much as the car does.
