🚨 Just casually taking on the toxic b•udoir industry one post at a time with the 🚩RED FLAG OF THE WEEK….if your photographer says you “WON” a session but then proceeds to tell you it will cost a minimum of $### for products you didn’t win. 💀 IT WAS A MARKETING PLOY TO GET YOU IN THE DOOR. 🚪

🪩🪩🪩🪩 Idk…maybe I should show them how a TRUE giveaway is done and actually give away a session that costs $0 in total? What do you think? Should I do that?!

I’m ready to get eaten alive by the “bo***ir world” for this but EXPENSIVE 👏🏻 DOESN’T 👏🏻 ALWAYS 👏🏻 MEAN 👏🏻 BETTER.

Two years ago, I decided to “up my game” in the bo***ir photography world. What I found was a massive amount of education, teaching photographers how to make more money while working less. 🫢 Don’t get me wrong. We would all love to do that. 🫶🏻

I was encouraged to up my pricing making something as simple as 10 digital photos cost thousands of dollars 💸 . While I didn’t go to extreme price increases. I did try the structure for a while. It just wasn’t for me.

Here’s why I don’t always believe the gimmick of “you get what you pay for”…. 🫣💋

• I know that my pricing is quite a bit lower than other bo***ir photographers in our area, and I do that for good reason. Every woman should have access to a safe, professional, trustworthy, educated and insured bo***ir photographer.

• This is an industry where ANYONE can enter it. They also choose their own pricing. I am all for doing what is best for you as a business owner. But I also want to educate clients that just because a photographer is charging thousands of dollars for a bo***ir session, it does not mean that they have been doing it a long time.

• I can promise my clients that I offer the same, if not better 👏🏻 experience at a reasonable rate. Are my sessions "cheap". No. In full transparency a full session with hair and makeup, digital images, album, and use of outfits is around $1700 + tax. That being said, I do know that something similar could cost you 3000+ with others in the area.

• Though my pricing may be lower than most, I offer SO MUCH MORE to you as my client. ❤️
•• I have an 800 square-foot dedicated studio space at a private business location.
•• My client closet offers hundreds of outfits ranging in sizes xs-5xl.
•• I have been in this industry since 2017 and believe that there is never enough education when it comes to working with something is intimate as a bo***ir session.
•• And most importantly, you are safe with me in my studio. No matter your age, race, size, confidence, level, nerves, excitement….you are safe with me and I take that SO seriously. 🖤
