Look closely at this image… it is not two images. It is one that my bride requested that I fixed. I am completely self taught in photoshop and know enough to accentuate the photos I take to merely enhance them…..that’s it. I cannot compose photos (well, clearly I can) …well- I can’t change body shapes or change the photo I’ve taken. I am adamant about shooting it correctly in camera and that includes being hyper-vigilant about what’s in the background and really just making post processing much easier for myself. In fact, I don’t even batch edit. {gasp! I know, the horror} these are some of the terribly lengthy yet individualized things that make me me and make my work what it is.. so when my bride came to me requesting that I somehow fix the issue ( now mind you she was not pushy. She’s still a great friend and I adore her) I spring into action. I did it…. The point of this post- is to consider these things when selecting a photographer for any occasion. What do you like about them? About their work? You’re hiring a human… not just skill. I cherish the relationships I have built and my brides and client family know I will do all I physically can to fix the flower girl and her itchy trigger finger should I need to….

Many years ago before was a most know as , he was a high school senior that I had the pleasure of photographing. If you don’t know Kal, you are missing out. He is one of THE COOLEST humans that I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. If not, catch him in the ring! He’s one hell of a wrestler!;)

Kyle & Hailey’s wedding day was absolutely perfect. Hailey did the most incredible job sparing any detail. The day was beautifully decorated in burgundy with the most precise gold accent.
