Want to send some love & prayers out to this soon-to-be Father of the Bride as he had a big surgery today! 🥰

I was so honored when Rebecca asked me to take "sneak peek" photos of her father's first look weeks before her wedding. There was a little bit of laughing, little bit of crying, little bit of flipping people off... It was perfect! 😆🤣

Wishing you a speedy recovery, Keith, so you can be there for your daughter's big day!

How cute are these two?!?! Can you say ! 🥰👏

This ridiculously adorable couple celebrated 50 years earlier this month by taking pictures with their beautiful family and then a delicious meal at Merichka's! 😋 When I asked them what the secret to 50 years was, Barb said laughter. Not to sweat the small stuff or take things too seriously. I loved that answer! Think it can apply to so many things in life.

Thank you again, Joe & Barb, for allowing me to be part of your day!!! It was so WONDERFUL meeting you all. Wishing you both many more years of love and laughter!!! ❤

This sweet thing turned 7 awhile ago, but we waited until Memorial Day when the stars finally aligned and I'm so glad we did because they turned out perfect! ⚾️⚾️⚾️

As you scroll, you will see the love of the game runs through this little girl's veins. Laney's Great-Grandmother, Ginny Tezak, played for the Racine Belles in 1948 and is the one pictured in the card you see her holding. I mean... How awesome is that! 🥰

Every single shoot I've done with Laney has been perfectly planned out, but I think this may be my favorite thus far.

Hope you have a "BALL" being 7, Laney!!! Can't wait to see how we top this next year!

My very last group of 2nd graders, including this handsome & talented young man below, graduated from Lincoln-Way West tonight. 😳🥹 Where on EARTH does the time go?!

So, this quote from Dr. Seuss seems appropriate:
"You're off to great places!

So get on your way"

Even thou it was over a decade ago, I still remember this exact stage in life. We had a year of parenting under our wing, were expecting Baby #2 soon and a bunch of feelings accompanied it!

As my due date approached, I wondered how we were going to balance our time between two children ... OR worry how our little one would react to "sharing" mommy & daddy... OR how my heart could possibly love another little person as much as our first?!?! I know - sounds silly now, but these thoughts definitely crossed my mind. I guess you could say I started to mourn the "just the three of us" stage.

What I soon realized after our second child was born, is you never have to split your love, your love multiplies! It is beautiful... and perfect... and happens so effortlessly. And the best part of it all: seeing the bond that forms between your two tiny loves. One day you will walk in to catch the oldest singing a song to the younger one and it will take your breath away. Just thinking about it now still does....

Ross & Jacki ~ enjoy these last few days with "just the three of you" and know that was lies ahead is just as special. You think your hearts are full now.... Just. You. Wait!
