Monument Valley Utah. This was such a gorgeous place. I definitely plan on returning to photograph, hike, and explore much more of this area.

Hiking in the Black Hills of SD in February definitely was worth it. Community Caves, Eleventh Hour Gulch, and Hippy Hole.

This year, the photo shootout was cancelled and a bunch of us decided that we would continue on with the workshop.

The first day, we went to Sylvan Lake before the sun came up. It was cold, and snowy. I decided to press on and walked the trail behind the lake, and came upon a couple waterfalls, and 3 deer!!

Later in the day, we met up with real life prospector, and our model for the day, Tony. We were granted access to the abandon ghost town and mine, Otho.

The next day, everyone else went to the horse ranch, and my friend and myself decided to go to Spearfish Canyon and the Reptile Gardens.

This shootout is a yearly event and worth it. The Black Hills of SD are the best.
