almost 2 weeks short of a year ago blake & eva did their very first couples session with me and said what most people say, leading to the same conclusion they all come to…

“we’ve never had professional pictures taken”
“we don’t know what we’re doing”

… but they did. because they knew exactly how to love each other and that’s the secret sauce🤫

the second time around for their engagement session they knew a little bit more about working with me, but they still didn’t know exactly how to pose & (spoiler) they👏🏼didn’t👏🏼have👏🏼to👏🏼

during my booking process, i’ve stopped asking clients to build a pinterest board (unless you already have one lol, I won’t stop you + will 100% bring your vision to life) because frankly I have more important questions to ask that help me get to know you instead of who you think you should be❤️

i’ve always been a sucker for little baby clothes in general for as long as I can remember & at maternity sessions especially, but since my own pregnancy — I’m just a WRECK, they’re so tiny and adorable, I cannot handle the cuteness😭

ron & zita celebrated 50 years of marriage last month and it was really hard to not get emotional thinking about all of my upcoming brides & grooms🥹

my hope for you on your wedding day (aside from all the obvious things) is that you give yourself a moment to look further than the best day of your life. hot take? maybe…

your wedding isn’t just about the pretty dress, extravagant decorations or even the big celebration, although the wedding industry can make it feel like that… it’s just the first of an every single day commitment to a long life ahead with the person you love most🤍
