I had a great time catching up with San Diego Photography friends last night at the Artists' Reception for the International Exhibition of Photography at the San Diego County Fair.

After walking through the gallery I was humbled to even have any of my images selected. The quality of all of the images displayed was so good. If you live in or visit San Diego over the next several weeks, please stop by and see the amazing work represented there and be sure to cast votes for The People's Choice Award.

Below are my images that were selected for display, this year:

As I prepare to shut down my online presence for a couple of weeks while we move from California to Colorado, I thought it might be a good idea to post a few more updates about my photographic successes in the past year.

I place a lot of images in competitions, and frequently those images are entered into various levels of competition, hence I am slow to share them because I don't want jurors to have seen them before. But, that also means I don't really market myself well. In that vein, I will post some of 2023's recognized images, in order to get my followers here caught up.

In January 2023 I entered the following images in local San Diego Competitions at Professional Photographers of San Diego County (PPSDC) and Darkroomers Photographic Club

Had the good fortune to receive recognition from the Light Chasers San Diego Photography FB group for their Explore 2023 Competitions. There were 24 image categories throughout the year and these were my recognized images.

Hey Friends of ProPeak Photography, I know the holidays are starting to fill everyone's calendars, but if you like w**e and are interested in seeing some incredible photographic wall art (and maybe getting a head start on your Christmas shopping), I encourage you to check out the Metalography Art Gallery in Temecula. I will be there along with several other artists who are featured in the gallery.

I understand the w**e and hors d'oeuvres are complimentary, so come on out and join the fun!
