Charlotte turns 5! I always love taking photos of this little... but she's getting so big!

Also a big thanks to Sunnycrest Farm for allowing us to shoot on short notice! The orchard was blooming beautiful and I can't wait to pick some apples there this fall!

I have been doing a lot of rural sessions lately - which I LOVE - but I am also pretty excited when I get to some more urban sessions. The colors and textures are so different in each "scene". I love exploring downtown Manchester for early AM sessions. The vibe is so much different when the city is just waking up on a Sunday morning. Last year, we were delayed by rain and illness... it only took 11 months, but we did it! Loving the session I did with this warm and loving family. There were a lot of silly moments - whisper something in her ear I asked... I don't know what was said, but there were giggles :D

I had the most amazing morning with my beautiful cousin, Kristin Gelinas and her family at Gelinas Farm in Pembroke, NH. The farm has been in herr husband's family for over 70 years and I have to stay it is one of prettiest farms I have ever been to. It was literally picture perfect - as is this little family :)

So funny thing happened on the way to this senior year photo session... I was driving out to the barn to meet this lovely senior when I realized I was still wearing flip flops. I had totally meant to grab my boots on the way out the door but completely spaced it. I was 3/4 of the way there when I realized what I had done, but traffic going home was backed up from an accident and the sky was looking iffy... nothing like mucking around horses in flip flops... so I borrowed some (too big) boots. That'll teach me! :D
