My name is Mike Mango—but most people just call me “Mango.” I am a friendly, easy-going, professional-yet-sarcastic, central Jersey photographer who has been shooting ever since I could hold a camera. I specialize in working with new models, and love capturing winning headshots and portraits by forming a connection with my subjects that get people noticed. I just love capturing the peaks of their
movements and the amazing color and flow of their costumes. I’ve developed a love of photography because of the opportunity it gives me to both permanently freeze a single moment in time, as well as transform that moment into something more spectacular based on how I choose to see it through creative lighting control. Whether that means a crisp, action-stopping image of a dancer in mid-flight, or a long exposure light painted portrait, I love how I get to choose how far I might bend reality. In addition to being a photographer, I am a problem solver.
