I returned from vacation with the most unfortunate Covid souvenir, which kept me from yesterday's much-anticipated wedding.

I am so very thankful to my forever second shooter, Vinnie, and the excellent Melissa for stepping in to shoot as an associate in my place. Editing today has had me grinning ear to ear, but I still wish I could've been there. The sheer love and joy in these images!

I've been drowning a little in all of the things going on in my life (personal, business, all predominantly GOOD, but just a LOT) - so it was really lovely to be asked to catch up with this family that I've been spending time with for years now, and especially to celebrate an upcoming 8th-grade graduation!

I especially love the goofy camaraderie with these graduates. 😆

Also, all this to say, I haven't posted any mini-sessions this season, but I am very happy to catch up with any of you, at any time. Just drop me a message!

Had a once-in-every-four-years opportunity yesterday!

Allison and CJ had an amazing (and slightly, well, chilly) evening at The Barn at Gibbet Hill celebrating with their family and friends for their Leap Day wedding.

It was so fun to see familiar faces and to be a small part of their celebration after years of watching their family grow by capturing mini-sessions of their crew.

Congratulations again!

Anyone else feel a little like the slide into this holiday season is a little, uh, fast and crazy and maybe that it's hard to get a handle on all the things your balancing? 🤷‍♀️

Outtakes like these from a recent session bring me so much joy - because, yes, life with kids is chaos, but there's so much incredible, goofy, rambunctious, can't-quite-hold-still-long-enough, love midst of it all. ❤️
