Years ago, I photographed them before senior prom. Two teenagers, dressed up for a night they would always remember.

And now, all these years later, I found myself behind the camera again, watching them quietly read their vows to each other as husband and wife.

There are moments I photograph, and then there are moments I feel lucky just to witness.

This was one of them. 🤍

Last Sunday’s session definitely kept us on our toes! We braved the icky weather, and somehow the rain paused just long enough for us to capture M’s senior session beautifully.

M’s family has been with me for so many years, and it hit me during this session that I first met her when she was in elementary school. How lucky am I to have the privilege of watching my clients grow through so many stages of their lives? From little kids to seniors getting ready for their next chapter, it truly means so much to be part of these memories along the way!

I have had the opportunity to watch A grow during her high school years and see how hard she has worked to adapt to a completely new environment, culture, and language. Starting over in a new place is not easy, but she faced every challenge with determination and kept moving forward without giving up.

Through the years, I have seen her mature, gain confidence, and continue working toward her goals even when things felt difficult. Her dedication and resilience say so much about the kind of person she is. I am excited to see everything she will achieve in the future.💕

It’s almost impossible to put into words or even images everything this weekend held.

High school sweethearts… I photographed them at prom years ago, and now I got to capture their graduation weekend and their engagement. 🤍

But what made it even more meaningful was everything around them. Their families all together, witnessing it, celebrating it, feeling every second of it with them. The reactions, the hugs, the emotion … it was all there.

From graduation to that quiet, life-changing “yes”… it wasn’t just one moment, it was years of love and support showing up all at once.

Because it’s never just about the photos. It’s about the people, the stories, and the meaning behind it all.
