Here’s the tea on my photography style☕️…

I would describe my work as very laid back and natural. I’m here to photograph the real stuff- the stuff that will make you laugh until your cheeks hurt! I want to photographer the things that make you who you are and what makes your love unique!🤎
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
When you look the photos from our session or your wedding 10 years from now, I want you to feel transported as the memories associated with the images come flooding back to you. I want you to remember how much fun we had frolicking in the fields of Yosemite or rock climbing in Joshua Tree. I want you to remember the butterflies as you locked eyes with your partner for the first time coming down the aisle. There are only so many poses and they’ve all been done before. The memories associated with your photos are what make them unique and I want to make those memories so special!🥰

As a wedding photographer, I get to attend some pretty awesome weddings!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Here are 5 things I wish I would have done at my own wedding:👇🏼
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🤎 A first look. Kaleb and I both don’t like having eyes on us and we didn’t get much alone time together. When couples add a first look, they get more portraits and a private moment together.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🤎 Personal Vows. There is nothing sweeter than vowing to love your person for the rest of your life in your own words. If you do a first look, you can even say your vows privately!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🤎 Hire a florist. I can’t completely blame myself for this one, I tried so hard to hire a florist but struck out due to the times (2020 was a wild time to get married😅). I think florists are some of the most important vendors! Good florals elevate a wedding so much.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🤎 Hire a coordinator. Good coordinators are worth their weight in gold. Not only can they really help bring your vision to life, but they also take so much stress off of you on your wedding day!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🤎 Add a photobooth. If you opt not to do a first look, it will give your guests something to do while we sneak away for bridal portraits, family photos, and bridal party photos.

Well hello there!👋🏼

I’m alive and excited to share what I’ve been up to during my time off of IG🙈
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
While I wish I could say I was doing something super cool, I’ve been glued to my computer editing like a mad woman 90% of the time (perfectionism is a blessing and a curse😅) I photographed two epic weddings in January in addition to some sweet family and engagement sessions! I can’t wait to share ALLLL of the photo epicness soon🤩

We do have some pretty exciting life changes I’ll be sharing about soon👀 (HINT HINT: we are moving!🏔️🏠) and I did change my business name because, well… I’ve always gone by Katie and it was getting confusing. Ever since Kaleb and I tied the knot, I felt Katie Eye sounded funny…maybe it’ll grow on me?🤔😂

I have so many epic weddings that I am dying to share, but the only thing that feels appropriate for instagram today with the snowy conditions is this epic wedding at Mammoth Mountain!🏂
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Melissa and Zaal celebrated saying “I do” by snowboarding down the mountain with some of their closest family + friends! This wedding was so perfect, I seriously could not imagine a day filled with more love and warmth even with the freezing temps outside🤍
