I may or may not have a special place in my heart for my Madison brides (which I have four of between this and next year, can you tell this name got popular in the 90’s?) so I was super excited going into Madison and Ian’s wedding day.

We met last year for a cozy, moody fall engagement session at their family’s home where I got to meet their dog, Harper and we frolicked in fields with the background of falling leaves. For their wedding day things were bit warmer and sunnier, celebrating their love at which I had last been to just last year during the same weekend! Such a quintessential summer wedding day perfect for Labor Day Weekend.

Where to begin with sharing Sarah and Yannis’ stunning wedding day? Well, why not backwards?

One of the reasons I will never tire of photographing Philadelphia is the unique meaning the city holds to all of the couples I photograph here.

Ching-Yu and Jen scheduled newlywed photos to remember their time in Philadelphia as work takes them to new places. We wandered the beautiful neighborhoods of center city, and made our way to the Schuylkill River Trail, where the two shared a walk on their first date and endless times since.

So happy to capture their Philly love story so they can take a piece of it with them wherever they go.

Maddy and Justin’s brunch wedding at Liberty Hall this past Saturday had just so many fun and personal elements. A mimosa bar before ceremony, their moms reading passages and poetry from their favorite books, whimsical wildflowers overflowing from baskets, ducks in and out of the museum to avoid the rain, breakfast food at cocktail hour, and a bustling dance floor you would never know was happening at 1:00pm with the amount of shots being passed around and guests pulling out their best moves are just a few of the highlights. Such a beautiful day to celebrate their love.
