Last wedding of 2021 with and went out with a bang, and p**o fuego!! Just watch the last slide to see what I’m talking about. (My favorite part was the 2 min discussion about jumping in the water naked or not 😂😂😂).

I just got back from Mexico this morning, so I haven’t yet processed it all, and there most likely will be a 2nd post about it, but until then I will say this about Jess and Ashley and the beautiful humans they surround themselves with: thank you for your love, thank you for the moments we created together, and shared, and thank you Jess and Ashley for being open and bold. 🤟🏼

I’ve been crossing out the word sorry from every text, journal entry, dictionary I could find
erasing it from my mind
For Im no longer sorry for wearing my emotions on my sleeve.
I did it all before:
holding it close to my vest
asking myself what to do next,
but when there’s no reply from simply just not knowing how to deal
I get dismissive and shove it way down deep
and then wonder why is everyone so damn confused and non-communicative.

I did it all before and I dare you to Try it. Dig now deep inside and pull it all out and don’t be sorry for what you find.

For the past couple months I’ve practiced meditating on healing and kindness. Asking myself how I can be kind. The answer, start being kind to myself. A saying we hear way to often, right? It’s so true though, how can you be kind to anyone when you can’t be kind to yourself? How can you be honest when you can’t be honest with yourself? How can you love... when you can’t love yourself?
Simple right, yet it’s not. As humans our tendency is to put people’s needs before our own. I love hearing on airplanes to put your mask on before assisting others....
Take care of yourself, too this holiday season.
