Congrats to actor / comedian Jimmy O. Yang on the theatrical release of his new comedy special “Finally Home”.

Here’s some out takes from my shoot for the cover of his book “How To American - An Immigrants Guide To Disappointing Your Parents” in 2018. I’ve done a ton of shoots and this was by far the most hilarious of them all. Laughs ensued the entire shoot day. First pic is a BTS of me and Jimmy. 🥳

A few of the many images I shot for the book on the late great Jeff Buckley entitled “Jeff Buckley - His Own Voice” put out by Da Capo Press in 2018.

Watching the new great documentary on him brought back what a heavy and beautful experience it was to open up his vault to capture so many of his most personal belongings, writings, and treasures for this book. The editors, publisher, and designer did such an exquisite job on this book. A beautiful tribute indeed. Track down a copy if you can find one. And watch the doc!

Wow. Even I’d never seen this out take photo I took of my old pal Norman Reedus from the spontaneous crown shoot we did in 96’. One of many gems I’ve been finding going thru a treasure trove of 90’s negative sleeves with fresh eyes for a retrospective art project. Reminds me of a more carefree time in Hollywood where everything wasn’t instantly posted to the world. Or maybe I’m just being nostalgic of my era of being in my 20’s.
