The Many-spotted Hummingbird😍 Enjoying his breakfast within the beautiful flowers of the Copalinga forest in Zamora, Ecuador.😉 This “little” beauty sure can offer you a “big” moment! 🤩 A huge thanks to our incredible guide and amigo, Walter👏🏻👏🏻…he found and identified so many great birds for Mike and I to enjoy and photograph.💯 Thank you Walter for a job well done 🥇…and your friendship. 🙏🏻

Male Yellow-vented Woodpeckers😍…in the forest of the awesome Guaycapi Birding Reserve 🥇 I was told that if you get to see one of these beautiful birds, you’re lucky🤗. But to see two of them…Wow!🫢 You are very lucky🍀. Common Ground Doves…made their first appearance ever yesterday🤗in my backyard. After a couple of Diet Cokes at our pool bar😉, they flew away and I saw their “orange rust” underwing feathers. 🫢 I didn’t know these birds were so colorful.😍 What an awesome surprise😊…and what a nice moment. 🙏🏻

The Roadside Hawk 😬 During our adventures on the back roads of Borja, Ecuador, Mike and I encountered this “classic” predator perched in the rain🌧️ I gave Mr. Roadside a nickname…“The Boss”…as his “look” reminded me of an old casino boss I had from my Las Vegas years.😉But that’s another story…for another day 🫢😬 I hope you’re having a great weekend.🙏🏻 🇪🇨

The awesome Crowned Woodnymph😍…a big attraction at the incredible Buglas Nature Reserve in Limon, Ecuador. Great birds, great lodge and great staff! 💯 No disagreement from my brother Mike and I. 👍🏻 We also agree that our experience was very special because of our guide and friend…Andres Pulla . Andres is a real pro who knows how to make any moment even better. Thanks Andres🙏🏻 and Thank you Mike🙏🏻❤️

The Hoatzin Family…Mom and her two kids🤗. There is no bird like a Hoatzin.⭐️ Wild look, stunning colors and crazy feathers. 😍My brother Mike and I have encountered these wonderful birds many times…from our canoe in the Amazon Jungle🫣…but we have only seen “the kids”once🍀. It was an exciting moment “off the grid” in Ecuador 🇪🇨. 🤩🙏🏻 🇪🇨

The Crowned Woodnymph was on the move, as most hummingbirds are🫢…when Mike and I met up with this beautiful Colibri🤗 walking the forest paths in the Copalinga Lodge in Zamora, Ecuador.😉 Mr. Wood sure is colorful😍…and fun to watch. I’m happy I captured a couple of moments from our encounter. 🙏🏻 So is Mike. 😎

The male Vermillion Flycatcher😍 Mike and I were waiting…and hoping🙏🏻 for this handsome little fella to show up in our friends, Jeanneth and Santiago’s backyard.🤗 And then…there he was🫣…perched perfect…right in front of us.🫢😳 I got real nervous😬 but was able to get a nice perched image…with a bonus fly away. 🤩 Wow!…lucky again. ☘️😉I hope you have a great weekend…and a “lucky one” too. 🙏🏻😎 🇪🇨

Mike and I were lucky enough to watch and photograph this female Vermilion Flycatcher “showing off”😍…in our long time, dear friends, Santiago and Jeanneth’s front yard in Tumbaco, Ecuador.🤗 Jeanneth says Mr. And Mrs. Vermilion are daily visitors to their beautiful home…and she didn’t exaggerate. 💯🤩 Stay tuned for some more nice moments with these awesome birds 😉…as soon as I can find them…I took about a zillion photos on our adventure to Ecuador. 🫢😎
