it’s raining & I’m reminiscing on the seniors I photographed I past spring season 🥰🌞🌳🎓🖼️📚🫶🏼

I loved everything about grace’s senior session! the moment I saw her in this dress, I was obsessed!! she was such a doll & I loved photographing her in her senior year era 🎓

She decided to go to Rice University for her session, because truly the architecture is just chef’s kiss from your Pinterest board & I love this place!! It’s truly so easy to navigate & gorgeous anywhere you go!

Sometimes session days don’t go exactly as planned...

One of the most common questions I get from new clients is… “What happens if it rains on my session day?” 🌧️

Here’s my honest answer! I keep a close eye on the weather leading up to your session. If rain is in the forecast, I’ll reach out & we’ll make a game plan together. That might mean rescheduling or having a backup date ready just in case. But sometimes, even with all the prep in the world, we live in Houston & it has a mind of it’s own.

That’s exactly what happened during Yairin’s Grad Session! Our original session date got totally rained out. We rescheduled for a day that was supposed to be full of sunshine — but surprise! We made it 1 hour into the session, a sprinkle turned into a full-on downpour. So, we wrapped up and picked things back up two days later. Thankfully, the sun finally showed up and gave us the golden light we had hoped for!

Moral of the story… Things might not always go as planned, but we’ll roll with it, stay flexible, and make the absolute best of it! 🌞🌾🧡🤠🎓

GOOD MORNING WORLD 🌞🎓🤠🌾🤙🏽✨🌈🎞️

today I’m feeling grateful to have photographed all the beautiful graduates & seniors that have found me this year! i’m thankful for the sunshine that pulled through for all my sessions this past week & for the rain that held off just a bit. i’m lucky to have found flower fields this last in the wildflower season for all the seniors that requested flower fields. i’m truly beyond grateful to have photography as my job & all the beautiful people that I get the privilege to meet!

SO THANK YOU to everyone that has allowed me to do my job & capture your sweet memories 🥰💫🖼️ I can’t wait to see where life takes y’all & I’ll be rooting for y’all on the sidelines 🤩

‘s senior photos 🌿📚🥽🌻🎓

finding a book store in the city that allows you to take pictures in… is quite the task! I found Becker Books in the Heights of Houston & they thankfully allowed us to take pictures inside, for a small exchange of money. BUT I was happy we were able to achieve the aesthetic Gabriel wanted 🤭🤌🏽 THEN I found these gorgeous arches along the way to our next spot! So we casually took some pictures & went on our way! The day was beautiful, sunshine was present, & the flowers were in bloom ✨ lots of Polaroid pictures were taken & it was a successful session for this senior 🎓🥰

throwback to this beautiful grad session I did a few weeks ago for Patricia on her college campus! did her hair & makeup 🥰 We soaked up the sunshine, walled everywhere on campus, & ended the session surround by the gorgeous oak trees that Houston has to offer 🌿

this senior session lives rent free in my brain 🌊🎓🌾🥲🌠🧠🌞👍🏽🤎

preslee decided to go to galveston for her senior session & had a whole day!! hair & makeup was done beautifully by & just made the experience extra full 💞 preslee loved the idea of having pictures done in the Galveston Bookshop 📚 which had fun records too 💽 we wandered around the Strand & the most iconic Sacred Heart Catholic Church - which if you know you know! Then we ended the session at a field & on the beach with our feet in the water 🐚💫🌊 & the sun throughout all the colors 🌈

galveston is one of my favorite places especially when you have a picture perfect day 🤩🤠✨

i feel so honored that hannah chose me as her photographer 🥲 & when i asked her where she was going to college, she said oh harvard & i immediately was stunned to speak & felt happy & SO proud of her!

thankful for how the clouds stayed away & let the sunshine do it’s job 🌾🌞

this is my annual guy’s need senior photos too post 🤠🌞🌿

I loved that Jake brought all the props, different outfits, & even his truck to take photos with for his senior session. Adding props definitely add so much more personality & authenticity to your pictures! I just loved how his fishing photos turned into him actually catching a fish! 🎣

plus I love a field with no end in sight that’s full of hay bales 🌾
