I have the great pleasure of being a professional photographer. I spend most of my time photographing golf courses, but fine art landscapes and travel photography are growing parts of my creative and business model. I live in Atlanta, Georgia, and travel across the USA and around the world, doing this work that I love. I'm fortunate to have received generous support from golf industry insiders, a

nd to have photographed some of the finest golf courses on the planet. Many of the photographs you'll find on my website are of golf courses that host PGA and USGA events. Courses like Liberty National Golf Club, Crooked Stick Golf Club, Kapalua's Plantation Course and East Lake Golf Club, home of The PGA Tour Championship. Many others are exclusive, private golf clubs that most people will never see in person or on TV.

WHEN IS A GOLF COURSE PHOTO NOT A GOLF COURSE PHOTO? When the landscape screams for attention. My photo shoot at Maggie Valley Golf Club this week was one that offered plenty of non-golf options. This shot just had to be captured.

After photographing both Plantation and Bay, at Kapalua on Maui… in 2015 and again in 2019... I returned to Hawaii for a third time last month — this time to capture the stunning Princeville Makai Golf Club on Kauai.

Princeville Makai is often ranked not just among Hawaii’s best, but it also ranks among the most scenically beautiful golf courses in the world. Set high on the cliffs of Kauai’s north shore, it delivers an unforgettable mix of golf course design (Robert Trent Jones II) and raw natural beauty — a dream for storytelling through photography.

Over several days, I worked to document the course from every angle:
1. Hero shots of key holes in dramatic light�
2. Player-perspective imagery from tee to green on every hole�3. 3. Sunrise and sunset photography to capture fleeting light�
4. Long-shadow visuals that reveal texture and shape�
5. Aerials that showcase routing and landscape integration

What made this shoot special wasn’t just the location or conditions (both of which were ideal) — it was the way every element of the course seemed to invite the camera in. From strategic design details to sweeping coastal views, this place tells its own story — I just had the opportunity to help translate it visually.

I’m incredibly proud of the work and excited to share a few highlights here, with more to come.
