One day, a few years ago, I bought my first DSLR on a whim and ended up with a passion. I've gone from snapping vacation shots to striving to improve both every time I go out shooting and again when I'm processing photos in the digital darkroom... I'm a quiet person by nature. Sharing my photography has given me a way express myself and share things that catch my eye and fire my imagination...

Another "oh, that looks cool, I need to find a place to pull over" photo from last month's Arizona wanderings. I was maybe a half hour drive south of Kayenta when I took this, interesting skies for much of the day with the rains passing through as I drove to Page.

Simple click, interesting sky as the sun broke through the clouds for a brief minute in between bouts of rain, just outside of Page, Arizona a couple of weeks ago.

I've driven by Church Rock just outside of Kayenta, Arizona numerous times over the years but it wasn't until a couple of weeks ago that the voices in my head insisted that I pull over and take a few photos.

Not the best light but when I spotted this I had to stop and take a photo or two. What's left of old Route 66 still holds a surprise or two if you keep your eyes open.
