The art loving aunt who gives you wine at family functions meets Architectural Digest.

She can’t stand still and always has a drink of some sort nearby. She’s more than just a voice. She’s a full character who never wants you to feel over or underdressed, and wants you to know that your “problems” are really just seat-warmers for solutions. She’s knowledgable but supportive. Not just a girl with a pearl earring, but a powerhouse in cheetah print heels. 

This is brand voice that Kaity built for her brand design studio, Point Made Studio. So where did we come in?

Capturing that personality in a classical art meets strategic creative business. Architectural Digest meets always having wine on hand. And that dogs are the best part of life.

Indonesian batik textiles lined the walls of their ceremony, a disc ball phone guest book captured the voices of their nearest and dearest to re-listen to in years to come, and an intention-filled ring warming where every single loved one took turns holding the things rings to infuse them with love.

Joyful maximalism meets intentionality. That’s Amanda and Paddy. Lush topicals and disco balls. A multicultural celebration where the laughter flowed and the dance floor went hard. Eyes filled with joy filled tears as his mom watched her son say his vows and her dad watched his daughter slip a ring on Paddy’s finger. Spring rolls at cocktail hour. “You’ve got a friend in me” song by Amanda and her dad at the reception. 

The list of intentionality goes on and on. Because that’s just who Amanda and Paddy are. And now they can add super married to that list too ;)

Instead of documenting a settled season of life, we were stepping directly into transition.

That’s really what in-home family lifestyle photography is. It doesn’t wait for perfect conditions. It meets you where you are. Even covered in paint.

Light purple on their hands. Pressed directly onto the wall. Baby prints (and smudges) included. Just a moment marking the beginning of a space that was already becoming theirs.

It was simple, but it was not ordinary.

Tree climbing at sunset, film photos on her dad’s old camera 🎞️, and cribbage on the lawn.

They celebrated their 4 year dating anniversary, and one of their first and favorite dates was spent at this exact spot.

Jenn’s hair flicked across the sun rays as her and Nick recalled that time they took salsa lessens. Now they salsaed on the neighborhood lawn

Near and dear memories were revisited, new ones were made.

A study of Cannon Beach

Fresh from our personal camera. Breath, slow, breeze, waves, in, out. Cannon Beach is a tiny place oozing with character. We honeymooned here 8+ years ago and the time was finally right to come back.

Slow days, iced coffee on our Airbnb porch, tide-pooling in the mornings, people observing in the afternoons, and sand dollar searching in the evenings.

Las Vegas lounge vibes in the middle of Wisconsin? Yes please ♠️♣️🃏

, , & collaborated on a public interactive gallery and we had the opportunity to capture in this insanely unique space.

The coolest people (who you’ll remember from their oyster and champagne rooftop engagement session we photographed!), Amanda & Paddy, came to enjoy the space and fill it with their fiery charm that we love them for.

Playing cards filled the air, ruby velvets draped the table, and disco balls lit the space!

Camp Elsewhere engagement photos 📍

They’re getting married here later, but wanted to make fiancé era memories here first. 

The lake still frozen gleamed brightly; Hannah & Brian’s laughter echoing off the sheen of its surface. February brings a sense of new hope while still leaning into the cozy of winter. Cuddled up, they boot skid across the ice, chased the shadows that stretch through the woods, and soaked in the slivers of streaming window sunlight.

Camp Elsewhere is the place where they’ll spend a week at “camp” with their nearest and dearest while they *officially* become a family. But for right now, it’s their very own memory of where they spent a sunny day in February.
