Finally getting around to sharing one of my FAVORITE families… and it just so happens that today is birthday boy Houston’s 2nd birthday!! 🎉💙

Can we just talk about this session for a second?! The most spectacular sky, the sweetest new baby girl, big boy Houston, and one seriously gorgeous family.

But beyond the beautiful photos, this family means so much to me personally. Being chosen over and over again to capture so many of their biggest moments is something I never take lightly.

Love this crew so much and so thankful for the friendship we’ve built along the way. Happy Birthday, Houston!! 🥳

Dana, owner of Leather & Twine Co., creates the most beautiful handmade leather purses and pieces, and you can truly see the heart she pours into every single item. From the details in her work to the stories behind the fabrics and leather she collects, everything she makes has meaning behind it.

LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT MY GIRL, Lakyn….

She is truly one of the kindest, sweetest souls and I could not be happier for her and Nik. This past Friday she pampered me just in time for Mother’s Day with her expert hands and incredible talent at Elvaya Headspa Formerly Elevate Headspa...and y’all…this was my second headspa experience and definitely NOT my last! ✨

If you’ve been wanting to try one, definitely hit Lakyn up!!

Then after she got done spoiling me, we met back up that same evening for the most perfect sunny Friday night to capture their love and celebrate this exciting season of their future together. 🥹

I have absolutely loved watching these two grow over the years and I cannot wait to watch them continue to flourish in their forever together. 🤍

Blake’s senior sesh at the lake was SOOO good!!

Seeing this young man now, all grown up and Liberty ready, honestly felt a little surreal. It feels like just yesterday I was taking photos of him as a kid, and now here we are celebrating his senior year 🥹

Blake, his sister, and his mom were some of the OGs who trusted me waaaaay back in the day...truly many moons ago 😂🤍 And somehow, all these years later, I’m still getting the honor of documenting so many of the big milestones in their lives. That kind of loyalty and support will never be lost on me.

I love this crew a whole lot and cannot wait to see what the future holds for him. Liberty is getting a good one 🎓🙌

Makayla and Nick have just added the most perfect little addition to their beautiful family welcoming baby Sawyer!

And big sis Natalie is already completely smitten with him. I have truly loved getting to know this sweet family, and I’m so grateful they continue to trust me to capture such meaningful chapters of their story. Every time we get together, I’m reminded just how quickly time moves. These tiny moments don’t stay tiny for long.

The babies are only little for such a short season… and before you know it, this little guy will be out there running around and hopping on a tractor 🥰

Man… some sessions are just harder than others. Not because anything went wrong, but because everything turned out SO good! Zach’s senior gallery is one of those. Trying to narrow it down to just a handful of images to share feels nearly impossible because every single photo is just that good!🔥

I truly adore this family more than I can put into words. It means so much to me that they continue to trust me with all of life’s big milestones...from senior sessions to their family portraits over the years 🥹 That kind of loyalty and love is something I never take for granted.

And every time we’re together, I leave feeling the same way… just so grateful. Grateful for how kind they all are, and honestly… still wishing I had Angie’s skincare routine because her skin is always absolutely flawless 😍 And most of all, grateful for the way you can feel God at the center of it all. It never fails. He shows up in every session with this family!

These aren’t just photos to me. They’re moments I get to witness, memories I get to help preserve, and stories I get to be a small part of… and that will never stop being special.

I recently spent the most wonderful evening with Megan and her sweet family! The sunshine showed up in the best way and, paired with their gorgeous family farm, it truly made this session chef’s kiss.

This was one of those sessions where we let the kiddos take the lead...running, laughing, and just being carefree. Those relaxed, joy-filled moments are always some of my favorite to capture.

I’m so grateful I got to document this beautiful season of life for such a special family 🤍
