🚨A little editing timeline update!🚨

We are officially in the crazy busy part of the year over here, so I wanted to take a minute to give everyone a little insight into my current editing queue and turnaround times.

First and foremost, thank you for being patient with me! I know how exciting it is to wait for your photos and I promise I am working through them as quickly as I possibly can.

I also want everyone to know that I make a point to regularly communicate where I’m at with editing. Throughout the week, I share updates on my Facebook story and I’ll occasionally share them on Instagram as well. I also make actual posts on my page with bigger updates whenever there’s something I feel everyone needs to know about timelines, my workload or what’s coming up.

Most of my updates can be found on Facebook, simply because that’s where the majority of my clients and families are. Instagram tends to be more of my younger crowd so while I do share there too, Facebook is definitely the best place to keep up with the most current updates from me.

I also want to clarify something about my 6-week wedding gallery turnaround.

That 6 weeks is an estimated turnaround time, not a guaranteed delivery date. My workload can change pretty drastically depending on the time of year, how many sessions and weddings I have scheduled and the overall volume of photos that come through the door.

And right now, the workload is… A LOT. But don’t get that confused with how much I love it! I’m so blessed to be this booked and busy!

I’m currently editing pretty much every chance I get - weekdays, evenings, weekends… basically whenever I’m not actively shooting, I’m working my way through photos. There really haven’t been many actual days off lately because there is always another gallery waiting in the queue.

But I also want to remind everyone that behind the camera and editing, I’m a mom too. I have a little one who needs my attention and we have school, practices, games, activities, appointments and all of the other everyday things that come with being a parent. Sometimes I have to step away from the editing and be Mom - even when I have a million photos waiting for me.

I absolutely love what I do and I pour a LOT of time into making sure your galleries are done right. But I’m also trying to balance running a business, photographing your memories, editing those memories and being present for my own family.

This coming week is going to add another big chunk to that queue as I photograph Madison’s youth cheer and football teams. Those galleries will need to take priority once they come in, which means they will have an effect on the current editing timeline for the galleries already in line.

I know waiting can be hard when you’re anxiously waiting to see your photos and I completely understand! But please know I am not sitting on your galleries or forgetting about you. I am genuinely working through them constantly and doing everything I can to get them finished and delivered as quickly as possible.

I would much rather be transparent about my workload and give you a realistic expectation than promise a specific date and then have to move it.

So if you’re currently waiting on a gallery - thank you, thank you, THANK YOU for hanging in there with me. 🥹❤️ Your patience, understanding and continued support means the absolute world to me.

Now excuse me while I go stare at thousands of photos again… 😂

Their first day as Mr. & Mrs. Herrman 🤍
And what a beautiful day it was.

Sierra and Ryan officially started their forever at The Lodge at Richfield Heritage Preserve, surrounded by the people who love them most and what a celebration it was!

From the very beginning, you could feel just how loved these two are. Their wedding party brought SO much personality and energy to the day and their individual photos with the bride and groom had me laughing nonstop. Every person brought their own unique energy and it was so much fun watching everyone come together to celebrate two people they clearly adore. The energy was unmatched from start to finish!

And then there was Sierra. I knew she was going to make a stunning bride but WOW. Seeing her all dressed up and watching the day finally become real for her was one of those moments that made me stop for a second. She was absolutely breathtaking. And Ryan? He cleaned up pretty well too! All dapper and ready to marry his girl.

Of course, we can’t talk about this wedding without talking about the chicken tenders. While getting ready, Sierra was happily enjoying some chicken tenders and somehow, they even made their way into the makeup bag during photos. You’ll see. And honestly? Iconic. I don’t think I’ll ever be able to look at a chicken tender the same way again. Sierra, you will forever be my chicken tender bride, and I absolutely love that for you.

But beyond all the laughs, what made this day so special was getting to watch these two start this next chapter together. The love, excitement and happiness surrounding them was something truly special to witness and I feel so lucky that I got to be there to capture it all.

I had the absolute BEST time celebrating these two alongside Gravity Muzik Entertainment , who kept the party going and played nothing but the hits all night long!

Sierra & Ryan, thank you for trusting me with such an important day and allowing me to be a small part of the beginning of your forever. Thank you for the laughs, the memories, the chicken tenders and for simply being you.

I am so incredibly happy for you both and I cannot wait to see where this life takes you together.

🫖🎀 Tea party, anyone? 🎀🫖

Y’all know I’m always about 3–5 business months behind on posting but I couldn’t let this one stay hidden forever.

Not too long ago, I got to bring one of those ideas I’ve had stuck in my head forever to life which was a little princess tea party for Miss Scarlett.

Scar was SO excited about this one and of course she somehow convinced Mom, Dad AND her new little brother Cooper to join in on the fun for a bit.

The last time I had seen the Vilcheck family, Nis and I were talking about how badly I wanted to do something like this with Scar. Apparently, she decided I had talked about it enough and finally said, “Okay, we’re doing it!” And I’m honestly so glad she did because it was everything I pictured and more.

I had the BEST time getting some one on one time with Scar, letting her dress up, sip her tea, play princess and just be a little girl living out her tea party dreams.

Nis, thank you for always trusting me with these moments and for continuing to bring your sweet family in front of my camera. I genuinely love watching these kiddos grow and getting to capture all the little seasons along the way.

I hope this is one of those sessions Scarlett looks back on years from now and remembers just how special it felt to have her very own princess tea party. 🩷🫖

The Wisniewskis 🤍

Some families you meet once and immediately hope you’ll get the chance to see again… and then there are families who actually come back and that means more to me than I can probably put into words.

I got to see the Wisniewskis again and this time we traded the fall colors for sand, sunshine and the beach!

Their little guy has grown so much since I last saw them and getting to spend another part of the day with this family was just as sweet as I remembered. Of course, he kept me entertained throughout the entire session with his Finding Nemo quotes, which I absolutely loved.

And then there was the fact that he was SO ready for us to finish taking pictures so he could go swimming. Meanwhile, I was standing there thinking, “Buddy… you have no idea how jealous I am right now.” I had a full day of sessions ahead of me and here he was getting to spend the rest of this absolutely perfect beach day swimming.

But those are the moments I love most - the silly little things that happen in between the posed photos, the personalities that come out and the memories that make each session uniquely theirs.

Jessica, thank you for trusting me again with your family and inviting me back to document another chapter for you guys. There is something so incredibly special about having families return to me.

From your beautiful fall session to this perfect beach day, I’ve loved getting to capture these memories for you. Thank you for choosing me again and allowing me to freeze another little piece of your family exactly as you are right now.

✨ Meet Chloe | Madison High School Class of 2027 ✨

And just like that… we’re officially kicking off the Class of 2027! 🎓

What better way to start off my Senior Sunday posts than with Chloe is my FIRST 2027 senior of the year? I genuinely could not have asked for a better girl to start this season with! I had the absolute best time hanging out with her, getting to know her and capturing all of the different sides of who she is.

Chloe is a Madison High School Varsity Cheerleader so of course we HAD to start her senior session at the MHS football field. There was something so special about getting to incorporate the place where she has spent so much of her high school years cheering, making memories and being part of the Madison community. I always love when we can take something that is such a big part of a senior’s story and make it part of their session, because these photos become so much more than just pretty pictures. They become a little piece of this chapter of their life.

After we finished up at the football field, we headed over to Hogback for a completely different look! The greenery, the river and all of the natural surroundings gave us the perfect opportunity to slow things down and capture a totally different side of Chloe. And let me just say… this girl absolutely killed it in front of my camera.

She is seriously SO sweet and such a beautiful girl inside and out. But one of my favorite parts of any senior session is getting to actually talk, laugh and learn more about the person behind the photos. I truly loved getting to do that with Chloe.

AND THEN I found out that her mom, Colleen, and I have the SAME nickname for our daughters… Bean. If you know me, you already know that immediately made me love them even more. There’s just something about those little random connections that makes you feel like you were meant to cross paths!

Colleen, thank you so much for trusting me with these precious moments with your daughter. I know how quickly these years go by, and I don’t take it lightly that you chose me to freeze this little piece of Chloe’s senior year for you. It was such a privilege getting to spend this time with her and I hope these photos are something you both look back on years from now and remember exactly who she was during this season of her life.

Chloe, I hope your senior year is everything you want it to be and MORE. Soak up every football game, every cheer event, every late night laugh, every friendship and every little moment that you wish you could slow down. You have so much ahead of you and I am so excited that I got to be a tiny part of documenting the beginning of this chapter.

Introducing Mr. & Mrs. Johnson 💍🥂

Katie and James officially tied the knot on a beautiful, HOT June summer day at Carawood Lake and I don’t think there could have been a more perfect setting for these two to start their forever.

We started the day at their Airbnb, where I got to capture all of those little in-between moments as in the getting ready, the excitement, the nerves, the laughter and all of the behind the scenes moments that made the day feel so uniquely theirs. From there, we headed to their venue, surrounded by the most beautiful pond and greenery.

And these two? Absolutely BEAMING. 🥹

You could feel how much this day meant to them. There was something so special about watching them finally get to experience the day they had been waiting for, surrounded by the people they love and committing to a lifetime together. Every time I looked at them, they were smiling at each other, soaking it all in and it was just one of those weddings where you could genuinely feel the love between two people.

The whole day had the sweetest rustic charm to it, with so many little details that made everything feel so personal and intentional. And that charcuterie spread?! 😍 Please. I was OBSESSED with all the color it brought into the room!

Katie, you looked absolutely STUNNING. And James… you clean up pretty darn good yourself!

But truly, getting to witness the two of you become husband and wife was such an honor. There are so many moments throughout a wedding day that go by in the blink of an eye and I’m so grateful you trusted me to preserve those moments for you to look back on for years and years to come.

Congratulations, Mr. & Mrs. Johnson! 🤍

Thank you for trusting me with such an important chapter of your story and for allowing me to celebrate right alongside you. I had the absolute BEST time with you both and I hope when you look back through these photos years from now, you can feel everything you felt on this day all over again.

A big family session? Absolutely. 🤍

A few weeks ago, I got to meet up with this beautiful family while they were visiting Geneva, OH and capture some photos while everyone was together.

They were staying at an Airbnb with the most beautiful property and it ended up being the perfect place to document their time together. The open field, the trees, the little pond - it was beautiful but honestly, this family made the photos what they are.

And this is your sign to get the whole family in the photos.

Not just the pretty, posed ones. Get the grandparents holding the babies. Get mom laughing with her daughter. Get the couples who have built a life together. Get the silly moments and the genuine smiles. Get everyone in one frame while you still can.

Because these photos aren’t just about what your family looks like right now. They’re about remembering who was there, how it felt to have everyone together and the love that filled that space.

This crew was full of laughter, personality and so much love. I truly had such a fun morning with them and left feeling like I had just spent time with a group of old friends.

Emily, thank you for trusting me to document your family and this little piece of your time together. I hope these images are looked back on for years and years and always bring a smile to your faces. 🤍

Makenzy is officially in her ONE year old era ✨🩷

Yes, she turned one a little bit ago.
Yes, I’m very behind on posting because apparently I decided I wanted to photograph approximately 847 people this year.
BUT I still had to share these because LOOK AT THIS GIRL!

She is too stinkin’ cute and she absolutely DEVOURED those mini cupcakes. Like… girl was not here to play.

She finished what was in front of her and immediately started looking around like, “Okay… where’s the rest?”

And she got ALL. UP. IN. IT. There was absolutely nothing graceful about this cupcake situation and honestly, I loved every second of it.

Sometimes the little ones want absolutely nothing to do with the cupcake or smash cake, so when they actually go for it, I am HERE FOR IT. Makenzy understood the assignment. She came, she saw, she conquered… and she probably would’ve kept going if we let her.

Anywhoooo, Katie & James, thank you SO much for continuing to trust me with your memories! I appreciate you guys bunches!

30, but make it witchy. 🔮🖤

We had a little surprise up our sleeves for Nicole’s Dirty 30.

Alison, Heidi, Cassie & I secretly put together this whole setup for her and surprised her with a little birthday shoot and obviously, once we had her there, we HAD to document it.

This was definitely a little different from my usual editing but I honestly couldn’t imagine these any other way. We went for that nostalgic Polaroid / disposable camera feel with the flash, grain, little imperfect moments and all the personality. It felt so fitting for the whole vibe of her witchy Dirty 30.

And Carey's Confections absolutely deserves a moment because this cake was EVERYTHING. She brought the vision to life perfectly and I’m still obsessed with it!

Also, a little thank you to my fiancé David for letting us take over Black Rain Art Co. for the morning and giving us the perfect space to pull this whole surprise together!

Happy Dirty 30, Nicole! We hope you loved your little surprise as much as we loved putting it together for you. I love you so bad!! 🖤🥂

Finally sharing some photos from the celebration of Mr. & Mrs. Greenwood 🩵

I’m SO behind on posting but after a few months of hanging onto these, the couple + family have officially done their posting… so I guess it’s finally my turn.

Not only did I have the absolute honor of photographing Alycia and Donovan’s engagement session and their courthouse elopement but I also got to celebrate with them at their reception on a completely separate day. And let me tell you… what a fun time it was!

We started the day at the Cleveland Public Library with their family and friends, capturing some portraits and soaking in all of those little moments before heading over to The LayR Event Venue to really celebrate these two.

And can we PLEASE talk about the cake?!?! Because oh my gosh. I am STILL obsessed with it months later. The cake itself was absolutely beautiful but then the venue added the most perfect little touch by hanging it from the chandelier. It was seriously breathtaking and I don’t think I will ever get over it. I have probably told way too many people about this cake by now.

And Alycia… WOW. You truly looked so beautiful. I remember walking in and seeing you and just thinking, “Okay GIRL.” Everything about you, your dress, the details, the whole day… absolutely perfect.

Alycia + Donovan, thank you for being so incredibly easygoing throughout this entire experience and most importantly, for trusting me to be there for so many different parts of your story. I have genuinely loved getting to know you both and spending this time with you.

And I already can’t wait to party with you guys at MY wedding.

P.S. Once the drinks were flowing, Alycia made VERY sure I promised I was inviting her to my wedding. Spoiler alert: I promised. So now you’re stuck with me. 🤪
